[Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration]

DEGREES AND PROGRAMS OFFERED

The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration offers one undergraduate degree, the bachelor of science in commerce and business administration (B.S.C.B.A.). The Manderson Graduate School of Business offers the following degrees: master of business administration (M.B.A.); master of arts (M.A.) and master of science in commerce (M.S.C.); master of accountancy (M.Acc.); master of tax accounting (M.T.A.); and doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.). Undergraduate students in commerce and business administration may major in accounting, management, management information systems, marketing, economics, finance, health care management, or operations management. Many of these majors provide students with opportunities for specialization within the major. World business concentrations are available within the economics, finance, management, and marketing majors. Three/Two M.B.A. Program

The Manderson Graduate School of Business offers to exceptionally well-qualified University of Alabama undergraduate business students an option that permits them to earn both a baccalaureate degree and an M.B.A. degree in a five-year period. In the first three years of the Three/Two M.B.A. Program, students enroll in undergraduate courses. During the fourth year, students are enrolled in the undergraduate program but are completing the first year of the graduate curriculum. In the fifth year, students complete the M.B.A. curriculum and are enrolled in graduate school. Interested students should contact the director of undergraduate programs for more information.

Five-Year Master's Degree in Business

Qualified students enrolled in undergraduate programs of the College of Commerce and Business Administration may be able to complete the requirements for a master's degree with one year of coursework beyond the bachelor's level. C&BA students interested in obtaining an M.A., M.Acc., M.S.C., or M.T.A. degree should contact the coordinator of graduate recruiting in the Manderson Graduate School of Business.
