MILITARY ORGANIZATIONS

Army ROTC Student Nursing Association. A professional nursing organization that, by sponsoring social events, provides information on career opportunities for student nurses and encourages the exchange of information about nursing issues. Open to all nursing students who are enrolled full-time. (205) 348-5917.

Arnold Air Society (Thomas H. Borders Squadron). A national honorary professional service organization dedicated to the development of professional Air Force officers. Open to all students in AFROTC. (205) 348-5900.

Crimson Kaydettes. A service organization dedicated to the needs of the Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (AROTC), The University of Alabama, and the Tuscaloosa community. Applications from interested students are accepted at the beginning of each semester. (205) 348-5917.

Officers Christian Fellowship. This organization is open to all University of Alabama students and meets weekly for fellowship and to enlighten participants spiritually through the examination of scripture. (205) 348-5917.

Ranger Company, University of Alabama. Conducts outdoor, dynamic, tactical military training during the school year. Open to all cadets.(205) 348-5917.

Sabre Drill Team. Anyone enrolled in Air Force ROTC in good academic standing is eligible to apply. Represents Air Force in parades and drill competition. (205) 348-5900.

Scabbard and Blade. Open to all cadets enrolled in the advanced program and possessing 2.75 or higher grade point averages. Promotes closer relationship with military departments of American universities. Develops essential qualities of professional officers. (205) 348-5917.

Silver Wings. A national service organization whose members are actively engaged in community activities, campus events, and support of AFROTC. (205) 348-5900.
