Students pursuing any of these minors also are subject to the following policies of the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration (C&BA). Failure to comply with these policies will result in administrative disenrollment from C&BA courses.

  1. Prior to enrolling in any 300- or 400-level C&BA course, a student must complete all of the specific prerequisites established for that course.
  2. Prior to enrolling in any 300- or 400-level C&BA course, a student must have achieved junior standing (defined for purposes of this policy as 55 semester hours earned).
  3. No more than 30 hours of C&BA courses (not counting EC 110, EC 111 and ST 260) may be taken for degree credit.

In addition, 1) students pursuing the minor in marketing must earn a grade of "C-" or higher in each required course, and 2) students who complete the minor in real estate satisfy the pre-licensing educational requirement of the Alabama Real Estate Brokers Examination.
