HONORS COLLEGE

Dr. Robert W. Halli Jr., Dean
Office: 111 Temple Tutwiler Hall

The Honors College at The University of Alabama is the administrative home for the three University-wide honors programs. These offer the best and brightest students on campus a remarkable array of enriched curricular opportunities through which to hone their academic skills and develop their knowledge as fully as possible. One of the highest priorities of The University of Alabama is to empower its honors students to achieve to the peak of their potential and to be recognized for that achievement.

The Honors College works collaboratively with the schools and colleges in which the undergraduate majors, degrees, and faculty reside. Students need not limit their honors work to one program in the Honors College. Many students are members of two or more of the University-wide honors programs, and many members of those programs are also members of college and department honors programs and of the Blount Undergraduate Initiative in the College of Arts and Sciences.
