HEB 101 Elementary Hebrew I. Three hours.

Contemporary Hebrew—speaking, reading, and writing. Course involves self-instructional approach with tapes and texts in the Critical Languages Center. Students meet three hours per week with a tutor. It is the first semester of college-level study in Hebrew. Offered each semester.

HEB 102 Elementary Hebrew II. Three hours.

Prerequisite: HEB 101 or equivalent.

HEB 201 Intermediate Hebrew I. Three hours.

Prerequisite: HEB 102 or equivalent.

Continuation of Hebrew language on the intermediate level. Emphasis is on the development of reading skills and writing proficiency. Offered according to demand.

HEB 202 Intermediate Hebrew II. Three hours.

Prerequisite: HEB 201 or equivalent.

Continuation of HEB 201. Emphasis is on the development of reading skills and writing proficiency. Offered according to demand.
