The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration offers one undergraduate degree, the bachelor of science in commerce and business administration (B.S.C.B.A.). The Manderson Graduate School of Business offers the following degrees: master of business administration (M.B.A.); master of arts (M.A.) and master of science (M.S.); master of accountancy (M.Acc.); master of tax accounting (M.T.A.); and doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.). Undergraduate students in commerce and business administration may major in accounting, management, management information systems, marketing, economics, finance, health care management, or operations management. Many of these majors provide students with opportunities for specialization within the major. World business concentrations are available within the economics, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing majors. The College also offers dual majors in economics, finance, management, or marketing with French, German, or Spanish; and dual majors in economics or finance and mathematics. (Please see p. 141 for more information regarding dual major programs.
The college also offers a general business major program designed for students desiring a broad understanding of business that spans all facets of the business enterprise and provides students with a broad philosophical and economic perspective about business operations.
