Academic Integrity Week - Sept. 13-19, 2007

The University of Alabama has always set the standard with its legacy and tradition of academic integrity. In keeping with that tradition, the University offers a week of events that celebrates the value that campus administrators, faculty and students have placed on maintaining academic integrity. All are encouraged to participate in the week’s events.

Thursday, Sept. 13
3 p.m. in Gorgas Library 205
Induction of the University-wide Honor Council

Sunday, Sept. 16
7 p.m. in Morgan Auditorium
Dr. David Callahan, author of The Cheating Culture, will address the campus. Immediately following his address in Morgan Hall lobby, Dr. Callahan will be signing copies of his book.

Monday, Sept. 17
10–11:30 a.m. in Gorgas Library 205
1:30–2:30 p.m. in Gorgas Library 205
Roundtable discussion with campus administrators, faculty, and student leaders

Wednesday, Sept. 19

“Get Caught” with your Ribbon Days
University-wide Honor Council Justices and SGA will hand out Academic Ribbon Stickers across campus. If you “get caught” wearing your ribbon, you can win prizes like book scholarships, Bama Dining Cards, or an iPod.
