The University recently relaunched its Crimson Calendar at http://events.ua.edu. The completely-redesigned Crimson Calendar offers the ability to unite events from the entire UA community into a centralized campus-wide events calendar.

In addition to a modernized look and feel and improved navigation, the new Crimson Calendar offers greatly enhanced features, enabling UA and its users to:

• Centralize multiple event calendars for various colleges, divisions, departments and areas of interest into one web-based calendar which can be shared
• Customize your view, including day, week, month and year-at-a-glance, and lists
• Search for campus events by keyword and event type
• Subscribe to calendars and receive e-mail updates for specific areas of interest
• Subscribe to RSS Feeds of each calendar through news readers and/or browsers
• Export events to downloadable files which can be imported into personal calendars
• Create e-mail reminders for specific events

Faculty and staff from all departments are encouraged to promote your official UA events by submitting them through the calendar. The new calendar also offers the opportunity for colleges, divisions and departments to create additional custom calendars to meet specific needs through a partnership with the UA Office of Web Communications.
